I used 3 different wood fills from the Xara CD. I added transparency effects over top for shading and highlights. I didn't do anything to the bitmaps, other than changed it's orientation and size. So that the wood grains seemed to fit the size of wood used on the dock.

Just a thank you for all the nice comments to my drawing.

I've still been doing touch ups here and there to it. Making some corrections, adjustments, and things that I just forgot to do. Like the girls lower eye lash. (oops)

Bob, this is a wonderful composition. It's a shame that too many people who aren't familiar with graphics programs will not be able to fully appreciate the effect you were able to create here. Super job!
