On saving a non animated .gif what are the pros and cons to using the "Interlaced" mode? e.g. should I use it?

Welcome to TalkGraphics
The pros for using Interlaced to save a GIF image disappeared many years ago. Originally, interlaced GIFs were created to load faster on slow computers with very little memory. The process worked by drawing every other line of pixels until the image was half drawn then adding the other lines in between.
But this has been a non-issue for almost 15-20 years.

Thanks for the feedback. I read the help file but there is no indication if the function is recomended on not. You might consider puting a note in the help or puting out a quickstart guide for us first time users. Xara3D is a really cool, intuitive program.
Thanks again.
