    Default Widescreen background

    Hi guys, newbie here.
Right, I'm working on a site using my sparkling new Web Designer Premium 7 and I want to create a background (pasteboard?) image that covers the whole of a widescreen monitor instead of having blank boring areas on either side of the actual page. Most people have either 16:10 or 16:9 monitors these days (mine is 16:9 1920 x1080) and I want to make use of that real estate.
    Here's the image I have created :

I am a learner driver here so please give me step by step instructions.
Your help is very much appreciated

    Hi Robmanns,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

You can drag and drop the image from Windows Explorer onto the pasteboard area by holding down a control key while dragging. The image will tile on the pasteboard so a seamless tile image will work best.

Ah yeah, never mind. I found the answer in the thread immediately below mine (currently at least).
Sorry to waste your time, Mods feel free to delete this.
PS, thanks Soquil, for your welcome and your answer. Much appreciated.

    Hi,
Yes most people do have widescreen monitors, but that doesn't mean they browse the internet full screen. I have 24" monitor but browse the internet at 1024 size.
