Link to page with a parameter?

Hi,
One of my menu bar buttons links to one of my pages via the "WebProperties" "Link to" and then "Page" where I pick the page I want (it's a php page).
Is there a way to pass it a parameter? I need to add "?lang=fr"

No. You'll have to use URL field.

But there's nothing preventing you from adding the parameters in the URL field, like 'mypage.php?lang=fr'

Yes that's what I did, instead of linking to the Page, I linked to the URL with the argument added.
