I don't have any problems with the skin either nor the logo. In fact, I like the logo. I'd have a problem with the skin if it had a dark theme. But, this one is easy on the eyes.

Clearly I don't have access to the figures but I would tend to agree with Antony. Most people will use the new skin because of one or more of the following:

it's the default
they don't know how to change skins
they can't be bothered to switch to the old skin
the new logo is a disaster with the old skin
they just don't care

I am using the new skin for a combination of the above.

What would be really cool would be a competition sponsored by Xara to design a completely new and unique skin for the forum, the prize for which would be a registered copy of XDP7 when it comes out. To do this you'd have to be fairly switched on because designing a vB4 forum skin is a tall order for many people. Let's see how many takers there'd be for that

There are many motivations as you indicate, but I think that's the clincher. I think regulars --- and i mean this in any forum, not just TG -- get very hung up on detail, and forget that window dressing really is not essential and it's the community that counts.

Antony, how about making the forum Black and White? No hassles over colour then. We can do the same for the logo. How about that? Better still we don't really need the logo window dressing either.

We are a graphics community, Antony. I think myself and a few others simply feel that our surroundings should go some way towards matching the reason why we're here. Wouldn't you agree?
