I had to switch back to the old skin for Talkgraphics. With the new one, I felt like I was viewing a web site for little kids. The colors are just too, oh I can't think of the word. Just my opinion.

Then again, "we" did vote on that skin ourselves.

This is actually very interesting situation. What we know from the poll is that most visitors love this skin. However, for the current feedback it is obvious that a lot of members hate it. Even if they are not a majority, still this is not a good thing I reckon. So is it just a failure of the democracy? I think not. I think that if the poll was made to vote the skin that you hate the most, we'd get the skin with least haters. Which, despite not being adored by most or even anyone, would not be hated by anyone. So, basically, most people would be comfortable with it.
What do you think?

• you could switch from one skin to the other within the Options menu AND
• switching to the other skin didn't lose your layout preferences

Sorry, I've simply blocked the whole TG skin/logo issue out of my consciousness. Therefore I assumed he was talking about the GUI. Anyway, about the GUI- it wouldn't be an issue if:

* you could switch from one skin to the other within the Options menu AND
* switching to the other skin didn't lose your layout preferences

The thing is, most people don't hate it. It's always the vocal minority. And most people are visiting here happy, and really don't mind.

And, as the OP has noted, you can switch skin. So it's a non-topic to be honest, and not sure we need another thread on this.

I have no problem with the skin whatsoever. Okay it's not the skin I voted for, but to be honest I have more important things going on in my life to be upset by a new forum skin.

I give it a month before people forget that this was ever an issue.
