Hello New to Xara. Need Help

I have used the search option and browsed the FAQ and looked around for my answer. Right now i am just trying to make a multi line animation in xara 3d ver 7. like 3 words on top of each other, they are staying on the same line, THE PET FLIPPERS. i want it like this--->

PET
FLIPPERS

Hi Dugy,

Welcome to Talkgraphics.

In Xara 3D Maker 7 the Enter key by itself creates a page break, if you hold down a Shift Key when you hit the Enter Key you will get a simple line break so the text remains on the same page.

Thank, I will try that again, i did that once, and it put each word on a different page,will go back and see if i can figure it out, thank u very much

I have a new problem now. When i put a new background in, a picture off my computer, it tiles it, I dont want it to tile. i want one big pic, what am i doing wrong. BTW thanks for the help on the multi line, i figured that out, thank u

I don't have version 7 - but in versions up to 6, xara3D does not adjust the size of your background image so it is up to you to make it the right size to fit exactly, and so it is probably the same in ver7

one way to do this:

export your animation and check its pixel size

make sure your background image is the same size in pixels before you import it into xara3D

Thank you very much, i got it, Now one more problem lol, how to make the text where u want it,Like if i want it at the top of pic or bottom,I will figure it out eventually, help would be appreciated, thank u all

If you hold down Alt, you can drag the image with the left mouse button to where you want it. In Version 7, there is also the View dialogue, which lets you do the same thing with sliders.
