I am not familiar with Netbeans but I assume it is a Java script creation program. Is this correct?

You can add Java Script and other HTML scripts to a placeholder object in the Website Properties > Placeholder > Replace with HTML Code text entry box.

What things would you want to export from Xara Web Designer to Netbeans?

Netbeans is a Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

I don't understand how you would integrate a graphics based web development tool into a Java language development environment.

Marcel please provide some examples of how you would use this integration.

Sorry if my imagination doesn't make sense. I thought if it was possible to edit templates made using Xara Web Designer directly from a Designer in Netbeans, without having to deal with codes in Netbeans and without having to come back and edit in Xara Web Designer enviroment. Did you understand?

That is not a good idea. HTML produced by WD is not really intended for editing. While such approach is possible, it has some limitations and as result is usually more complicated than editing and re-exporting from WD.

Why HTML produced by WD is not really intended for editing? What happens if I edit? I bought WD and my purpose is use a template from WD and after edit and create a website which is more complex. Did you understand?

First of all because all elements are absolutely positioned. So you'd have to move everything manually if you want to resize some area or such.

Nothing will happen, but you have to edit it first. Actually, why don't you just try it? Perhaps it may be satisfactory for your needs. After all I don't know what exactly are you going to do with it.
    Good luck!
