WD7: Avoid Page&Layer to collapse?

Hi,
just upgraded from WD6 to WD7Premium.
Any way to prevent the "Page & Layer Gallery" window to autosize? This is very upsetting. I want to give it a specific width and keep it at this size.
As soon as you close one of the pages, it collapses to the narrow size of the thumbnails. I'd like to avoid this.
Any "auto collapse" option to uncheck somewhere?

You can pin it open (click the push pin icon). You can switch to Page View (this takes up less screen).

Also, when the gallery is pinned down (with the push pin icon), you can drag the title bar onto the page and float the gallery.

Sorry, but this doesn't work.
If I pin it open, as soon as I close the current thumbnails it collapses and has a very small window.
What I need is to keep that window, once pinned, at the same size so I can see every page name, etc.
When thumbnails are collapsed, the window is about only 1" width.
In WebDesigner 6, it never switched to different sizes when expanding or collapsing pages.

Even if you use the slider between the main window and the "Page & Layer Gallery" window, while
you drag it to the left to allow more room for "Page & Layer Gallery", it switches back to that small size.
As you drag, you lose control of it and it gets narrow again.

Now if you undock it, it behaves the same way, there is no way to give it the size you want, it keeps
getting small when all thumnails are collapsed.

I don't think there's a direct way to force this but there is a workaround:

* Click on one of the disclosure triangles to the left of one of the page thumbnails. This will show the full width of the P&L gallery.
* Now click on the Locate button. This makes the P&L gallery always expand the tree to show the selected object.

The P&L gallery will now remain full width because it needs to show the expanded tree.
