Menu bars going out of line the text depending on the text

Using WD7

If take a menu bar strip it down to just the text, then make it a bar again.

When I enter say "Support" or "Buy" it raises the text above the others

It seems to be the letters "up" and "uy" that do it.

Any fixes any one?

All buttons in a bar are aligned at the bottom. The idea is that this aligns the background shape of the button design. Did you perhaps try to create a bar from just a text object without any background shape? Supposing you took a text line object, turned it into a group and then created a bar from that, then you would see the above effect, but that kind of setup is not supported (to be honest, I did not think anyone would try that - we should check for that case). Your button design needs to be a group with some sort of a background design that is larger than the text.

Or - You could use all caps and a small font size, maybe 6-8px.
