    Default A few questions.........

    Hay all
I'm new here & new to Xara 3D Maker 7. But not so new to graphics

I've been playing around with the program today and its great. I'm yet to view the tutorials but I have a couple of questions....

    1. Once I've finished making something 3D for example a shape from a wingding font. Can I re-import it to then add text over the top of it so I can get the aliment and sizing rite?

    2. Is it possible to have text layed out for example:

    A
    B
    C

with out it being per frame?

    3. If I have a shape I want to import how can I convert it to open in 3D Maker? As my only other prog is Adobe CS5 which I can't seem to find any of referred file types for Xara 3D to save it as.

I'm new to this prog so sorry if I have asked obvious questions

    1. You can do this at the same time. Enter your webding, hit Enter and key in your text. Select the text and use the line spacing to center the text over the symbol.
    2. Yes, just press Enter between words
    3. You can only import vector shapes or text. So the you can create a vector object (no color or patterns, just a solid color) in Illustrator, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into X3D.

Open the attached file and look at the settings.

You need to do [Shift Enter] using X3D7
[Enter] will take you to another page.
[Enter] will return you to the next line only in X3D6 and earlier versions.
