Default Photos in Design Gallery Objects

    Hi
I'm new to Wed Designer 6 so please bear with me.

I want to use a photo gallery type object from the Design Gallery (see attachment) where there are several thumbnails that when clicked reveal the corresponding larger image in the main window. If I populate all the thumbnails I find either only the first large picture changes or... if I need to resize the first large image to fit the container the others are all too big. Both (seperate) issues are driving me nuts as I just don't seem to be able to gain access to the other large images (I am assuming they are on different layers)

Please help as my poor old PC cannot take much more abuse!

    Phil.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Phil

    Time for a new computer?

What happens if you drag and drop a photo from your desktop or Windows Explorer onto the thumbnails? I think if you do this it will automatically change the larger photo.

    Hi
If I drag and drop a picture (to replace the gull in my example) onto the 1st thumbnail, provided I resize it it fit in the thumbnail 'holder' then the larger version displays ok. However, if I replace the bridge (2nd picture) I still get the bridge as my large picture when previewing the page (after clicking on the thumbnail of course). the same goes for the other two.

Ack. Which template are you using? I will try to check it out in the morning. I'm about to shut down right now. But I will check this in the morning.

You can also send me this information in a PM in case I miss your post.

Sorry, I've not worked out how to send PM yet.

In answer to your question - everyone I've tried so far has the same result (which makes me believe it is something I am doing wrong!)

    Phil

I just tried one of the templates and it works fine. Are you holding down the Shift key when you drag and drop a photo onto the photo you want to replace.
