Need help desperately RE: Webdesigner 6

Hi all,
I have been running into problems everytime i try to upload my website. I put all the relevant data for the ftp uploader in the webdesigner 6 program, and then this error message comes up, "invalid file name, a name cannot contain any of the following characters *:?#><|" ' ()

the funny thing is, that not one filename has any of these characters in it. What is this? I cannot upload and it is very frustrating. Please help me!! I really appreciate it.

Did you copy and paste something? I have found this happens when I copy and paste passwords or content from the web. Special characters can get inserted that are not visible but that can cause this kind of error message.
