Holiday Theme

I'm starting a new project using the "Holiday" theme. There are several pictures in the theme that are black and white and change to color on mouse over. I reviewed the tutorial that shows how to make this effect from scratch, however I wanted to know if there is a way to drag and drop pictures into the theme and get the same effect (black/white to color). When I drop my pic into the frame both the base layer and the pop-up layer are color. I tried to separate the layers but was unable to see where the pop-up/mouse over effect was created.

You can do this but with separate popup layers.

Create a new layer for each image. Link the black and white image to the layer with the color image. I have used something similar in this gallery http://www.placitasartists.com/k_wilson/. The thumbnail images are linked to different layers. The thumbs are color but they could also be black and white. You can also link to each layer using the Mouse Over > Show Pop-up Layer command in the Website Properties menu.
