Horizontal bars too short in preview

I have a horizontal bar across top & bottom of each page. Looks right on screen, but comes up too short in preview page. Why? Also other strange things are happening. When I lengthen pages I lose the links under the photos. Do you think I'm experiencing a memory problem? I sure wish Xara would fix this I run into memory problems a lot with web sites that have a lot of photos. I optimize them all but I usually have to split into many websites as suggested via this forum. That's a pain. Xara is my favorite, but I don't have this problem with other software. I'm using 6.0
