removing page numbers from title

Hi Can anyone advise how one can stop the page numbers being shown in the webpage browser title e.g say it was this page - the title would be similar to

Web Design - Post New Tread Page 2. Windows Internet Explorer.

How do I get rid of the 'Page 2' etc through the website. I have tried various things but the page numbers keep appearing.

Hi Mike,

Have you entered a page title in the Page Properties?

No - The only page numbers are in the Nav/menu buttons and I cant get rid of those. The individual pages have names only not numbers. There are only 4 nav/menu buttons but 15 pages in the site the rest are by button on the page.
