    Default Webpage not displying correctly.

I want to create several sets of webpages. They are basically technical manuals.
Eg Convert Mill to CNC control
    Convert Lathe to CNC control.

I was looking at making up a set of independent web pages for each manual.

I tried this but when I linked my home webpage to the index of my first 'manual',
Firefox reported it could not be found.

    http://www.marshland.co.nz/emc2.html

I am new to this so I might have my host pages set incorrectly.

I basically put all the web pages into one directory on the host.

    Thanks Wallace

    Hi Wallace, welcome aboard TG.

It's difficullt to tell what's going on from your description. emc2.html certainly doesn't exist on your host so the real question is "where is it?" .

It could be that the name is wrong or it hasn't been published and transferred to your website.

Why put manuals on the website?

Thanks for the reply. Our host is a Linux system so upper an lower case are different.

Will chat later as we have just had (3 hours ago) a 6.1 quake 15 km from our house. Town center is a mess and some multistory buildings have collapsed with people inside. .

    We are OK.

    Very violent quake.

    Wallace Christchurch.
