Default Text not smooth in XPro5 but OK in WD6

I created text (verdana font) in XPro5 and exported it as jpg (and png) to use in a js slide show. The text has fuzzy jagged edges in both Xpro and the exported jpg or png files. I did the same in WD6 and it displays OK. Because Xara makes vector images in both applications I'm surprised that this is happening in XPro5and would appreciate some advice. I still use Xpro5 for some graphics and would hate to loose that capability.

I cannot really comment on this because I have not seen the text. But I would not export text as JPEG. JPEG is great for photos but not great for text. 24 bit PNG would be my file for text.

Thanks Gary. I discovered that as well. It is still a mystery to me why Xpro5 does not render the fonts as smoothly as WD6. In the end I used WD6 to create a flash animation and the text renders nicely.

No problems here. I wonder if the View Quality is set highest in XP5? WD6 has one notch more than Xtreme5 with it's Very High Quality, but in testing with text using Verdana, I see zero difference if exported as PNG
