    Cool Background Images keeps repeating Webdesign 6, 5 Blues

    I have tried everything short of not using this program (webdesigner 6)

    I am trying to put a image of wood for the background of my website. But every time I try the image repeats itself on the right 200px by the length. I tried making the picture larger 2000px x 2000px but still no luck. There has to be a way to adjust the CSS standards or align the background to stop this but I am yet to find anything on Xara Forum "unless I missed it" so if there is anyone that has had this trouble and may have a work around I would greatly appriciated it

    OK I know there are people out there that are having trouble placing a picture as there background. But the picture may repeat or adjust out of alignment. I figure I would ask the forum to find out...

    But Google came through before I could wait so I felt I should share

    This is how you you make a full size picture be the background without errors

    1. place your background picture, image etc...
    2. Create a placeholder and add this code

    <script type="text/javascript">function xr_rx(){var ww=document.documentElement.clientWidth;xr_dx=(ww-parseInt(xr_xr.style.width))/2;var i=-parseInt(xr_xr.style.width)/2;if(xr_dx<0){i-=xr_dx;xr_dx=0;};xr_xr.style.marginLeft=i+'px';xr_ pvx();};</script>

    3. then name it <head>

    Save it export it to your directory on your PC
    then preview

    Your done

    I have attached the tutorial if you need any help it is a .web folder
    Attached Files Attached Files

    Since we're just talking about wood, I'd have thought making a seamless repeating tile would be so much more elegant a solution?
    If someone tried to make me dig my own grave I would say No.
