Default SEO - Is Content on Layers detected by the spiders

I'm looking for input regards to optimising my index page.

My index page consists of 4 layers. Each layer with a tab.

What i need to know is, that will all the content on each layer be seen by the spiders and also detected as the home page keyword content info?

I thought of having "placeholder" header tags (<h1> to <h4> ) on the respective layer tabs using the main keyword

eg - Layer 1 TAb - Company Name Power Cables (h1>)
Layer 2 TAb - Installing Power Cables (<h2>)
Layer 3 Tab - Power Cable Products (<h3>)
Layer 4 Tab - Power Cable Specials (<h4>)

I never thought of that! I did a preview, looked at the source and did find the content, thanks. I'll try the Header tags now to see how they come up.
