Default Just Flying Through (therapy doodle)

Yet again I'm giving Adobe Illustrator a chance (because one day I will have to learn and use it to stay in business) and yet again I find it completely frustrating to use!

As therapy I made this doodle in Xara Designer. It started with the mountain/rock formation (something I tried to do in Illustrator - took like a couple of minutes to do in XDP6 - sigh!). Just kept on doodling and this is the result.

Love it! Cheese made of flames, or flames made of cheese, whatever next???

I originally found Xara because I was looking for an alternative to Illustrator so many years ago. To this day I still despise the interface. I've gotten very attached to the mouse wheel navigation, and am glad to finally see some other programs following suit here and there.

Nice one, your gnurfness. I have Illustrator CS5 that I got with my review copy of CS5. I have opened it a few times mostly to open EPS or AI files that won't open properly in Designer. Then I save them as PDF and close Illustrator. So, your illustration is perfect. I just am passing through.
