Copying Layers

Am I wrong or is there no way to copy layers between pages of a web site design except by using copy and paste? I can insert a duplicate of any page using the tool icon for that function. Why not have a way to copy any layer to any page in a web site design?

Open the Page and Layers Gallery (F10)

Select a Layer and press Duplicate.

EyesOpen, are you asking whether you can copy a layer from one page in order to use it in another, or just to make a copy to be used in the same page? I think duplicating a layer only creates a copy for use on that page.

Gary, is there a way to copy a layer to another page?... not sure.

Gary Priestler - I know how to duplicate a layer on a page. What I want to do is duplicate or copy a layer from one page to another page in the same web site design. Is there any way?

Jon Lake - You understand my question. Now only if there was a way to do this without using copy and paste. Perhaps this would be a good addition for the next version of XDP.
