Xara xtreme 5 pro & windows 7

Dear Xara,
I have a problem with combination of xteme 5 pro and windows 7. I bought new computer with win 7 64b (dell xps 15) but my xara is much slower (laggy) in drawing, moveing objects etc.. then ever. Previously I used 4years old computer with win xp with no lags and problems. (xara 4 > 5 pro)

Problem:

Reinstall does not work.. still laggy. Software is useless for profesional work.

Solution:

I have still copy of xara 4 and works fine with new notebook.. but.. it's not pro version and.. 4 not 5.

I tried designer 6pro and .. works fine! But, i do not wont buy another version.

Is there a hope for some update or patch for xara 5?

And obviously the reason that you don't see the problem in Designer 6 Pro is because we fixed it properly. So no need for Xhris's workaround which sacrifices performance to get rid of the lag.

LOL, I think that's an oxymoron!

Perhaps it should read "sacrifices non-performance"!

Phil I'm only having a bit of fun. I realise the older Xara code had a problem with concurrency but you've now solved the problem.
