Filling fonts with images

Hi there- wow this seems like an awsome user group.

I am using Xara X and trying to hollow out a font and fill it with my chosen fill/image pattern- but can not seem to figure out how? I want to fill the Wade Bootes in with the rainbow flag. Can anyone lend me a hand with the fill technique? and what format the flag/fill patern format required?

Hi Byronious,

Welcome to the forum. You can fill text the same as any object you create using the drawing tools. Select the font and then click on the Fill Tool, or if you want to use a bitmap for the file import it and then select it from the Bitmap Gallery and click the fill button.

The attachment was made using a bitmap file from the gallery.
