Oh, this is marvelous! Does "EC 4000" refer to the Eye Candy for Xara plugin? I do have that. If I run into questions (I'm a novice and pretty lost as yet), do you mind if I bother you with some guidance?

The location of the Eye Candy reflection map resources. The maps are uncompressed TIF format.

    Just ask.

Re: Rich / Eye Candy (not to say that Rich is eye candy)

Please note that if one is using newer versions of the Eye Candy plug-ins, the Reflection maps are stored as JPG's. (it won't see TIF files)

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Would you mind telling us how you achieved the fill for the turtle? Did you use a bitmap or shapes?

The outer ring is made with a triangle brush. The brush happened to be vector. EC 4000 looks at opacity and a PNG brush would do the same.
The triangle brush was applied to a circle with no fill. The brush line acts like a group unless you convert the line to a shape and ungroup. So, EC 4000 sees the triangle brushed line as one unit and applied the effect that way. Un grouped and multiple selected, the effect would be individual triangles. The dots were similar, but were not touching and filled separately. The turtle is a vector drawing I did years ago. The drawing was un groouped and multiple selected. The objects were to close together for EC 4000 the see everything as separate pieces. The tultle was filled like anythng else. You don't see but one object in the plugin this way, but everything selected gets coloted. You can go back and edit separated objectes if needed. The rest was just concentric circles with no fill and wide lines. Lines look like anything esle to EC 4000.
