    Default Layer and mouseover

Is is possible to hold a layer brought up by a mouseover so the a link on that layer may be activated?

Normally the layer disappears when the cursor is brought on to the layer

I managed to do this some time ago, but have forgotten what I did.

Thanks. Mind you I accidentally got it to work some other way. That is what I forgot.

    I'll follow the info given.

MM I had a go but it didn't work. The Item 10 seemd to deal with popups from clicked links, I am wanting to temporarily lock a mouseover popup so that the cursor can be moved on to the layer object without the layer disappearing.

I remember now how I did it before.

Choose the layer as a link AND choose the layer as a mouseover.

What then happens is the layer objects appear and remained in view with the cursor on it, and only disappears when the cursor moves off the layer object.

I had a poster advertising an event on a layer which came up on mouseover on a TEXT object. There was a link on this poster to a box office.

Not much good if the poster disappeared everytime the cursor went on to it. Hence the reason to lock it. No need to close the layer as it disappeared when the cursor moved away.
