Menu Item of Active Page displays mouse over color

I vaguely remember asking this a LONG time ago, but couldn't find anything when searching.

I used a template with a navbar. When I view the webpage, the menu item used to navigate to that page displays the mouse over color continually while that page is active. How can I prevent this? I only want the mouse over color to show when the cursor passes over a menu item.
