    have you resized the text box? - if so you should do this in the text tool - if you resize the text box in the selector tool it might cause formatting problems

    I would completely delete the text box, create new text box with text tool, copy text from a .txt copy and paste into box. Make sure all font size is in whole px values.

    I tried that and it did not work either. I had to go further and start the site from scratch with a brand new page. the problem was resolved then.

    there must be some coding errors embedded somewhere deep that were not visible

    hi
    i have the exact same problem with textboxes and a picture which should repel text. it works alright in ie - but not in firefox. there is always an overlap. i also cut and pasted the text out of open office - pasting as unformatted text. getting it via notepad did not change the behaviour. will try the approach with a brand new page. but the indication is that xdp6 is doing something wonky.
