Thank you Larry and John! I had a bit ot luck with the rain that evening - when it went off, the water turned very calm with nice reflections. I did an 80 mile round trip to get the pic; turned out better than I thought

This is a delightful picture. The effect is like bright and sharp painting worked on a dark board. Definitely a photograph of mood and interest.

Thank you spondoolix! I had hoped to capture a significant firework display as this was taken on the Christmas Lighting Up ceremony. I didn't realise it was to run for only 4 minutes and missed my opportunity!
