Create brush from png files

Hi to everybody,
First of all, happ new year, all of you...
I tried to create xara brushes from png files. Is it possible create brushes from images(png, jpg, etc) ? If yes, please inform me, how it is done...

It really depends on the type of image and what effect you hope to achieve, PNG files can just be used by selecting the image then freehand tool and clickingon the create brush icon on the info bar. JPG's are a different thing - you can fill a shape with a jpg and use that to create a brush but again it depends on what you are hoping to achieve.

If you can post an image you want to create a brush from we can point you in the right direction.
