Default Page comes out all scrambled up -Please, please help -

Added a new page to an existing (and working) website.
This new page ALSO (like the other pages) includes pictures.
It comes out missing every pic and is all scrambled up.
Top is on the bottom (scrambled) otherwise, nothing there.
Using Windows 7, Designer6, did everything exactly like with the other pages.

If you want to take a look: www.1013suncoast.com
    It's the 'Gallery' page.

Thanks all - and MERRY Christmas.

I'd appreciate 'plain' English for a little old GERMAN Lady to understand.

Web Designer creates a folder when you export your website that contains images, style sheets, and any scripts you might have used such as for mouse over effects.

If you save your site as gallery.htm then Web Designer creates a folder called gallery_htm_files. This folder needs to be in the same directory as your index.htm page.

Since you have added this to an existing website, you might be better off creating a new folder and linking to this folder. Here's a mini-tutorial for how do handle this http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/wo...kbook%201.html

    Hm thank you.
Yes, I see those htm_files folders...
But this site is small, I didn't get a 'low memory' warning and I made other websites with a LOT more pictures
and had no problem at all. I'm saving, exporting and publishing to the correct paths / directories.
    I guess I'm still lost.
I read your tutorial - and HOPE I can follow.
    Thank you again.

    arrrgghhh ... ???
I get it and the retired NY Police 'family' gets it too -
    just not the gallery page.
Just made a Video of the pics. It's uploaded and I will try to
insert it into another page - not the gallery

    Hello Johanna

The reason I sent the link to the tutorial is I suggest you make the gallery a separate site and link to that site. It will appear to be part of the previously designed website. And no one will know the difference. It just makes it logistically easier.

OR Since the site is small to begin with, you could recreate the site in Web Designer. Then all the pages will be automatically linked and you won't have to bother with linking to the other folder. Here's another tutorial for recreating an existing website.

ok, now I can't get the index page up.
I have changed the front (not font) a little -
    save as: .web
    export as: .html
publish onto the CORRECT path and server.
Passwords are correct. Server is correct.
Everything is sitting in the correct folder... NOW, the index page doesn't come up anymore at all.
It's all black with outlines and X-es instead of pictures. No NavBar... nothing.
Trying to get www.1013suncoast.com/news.html up, doesn't work anymore either,
after I added a link to a quick made gallery page, located @ yahoo.
I get the lonely gallery up - but not via 'news' or index at 1013suncoast.com etc.

BTW I gave up on the gallery. I now try to make a link to Yahoo where I have parked
the Gallery page, easily made in Dreamweaver.

If you click on the 'dead index' NavBar - some pages are coming up: Officers, Events and Contact.
    Nothing else.

ALSO - how come that when ever I open a page to edit something - the 'Publish'-links in Property are disappeared again.
    Sometimes, sometimes not.

I have a feeling that WebDesigner6 is EXTREMELY sensitive to any movement. ??

I fear I need major help. And I'm already reading my eyes out here.

Kind Regards and happy New Year.
    Johanna
