Cool, what program did you do that in?
The circular array, I did in AutoSketch. AS has a circular and rectangular array function. The file was saved to WMF, and opened in Expression. I have been expirmenting with reflection maps in Expression. This is how Expression simulated spherical dimensions. In this case, I made a non spherical image as a reflection map, and applied it to the drawing. Then an export to PNG with an alpha channel for the next step. I have been using AutoFX Gel to apply shaping effects. In the transparent mode, the graphic is masked, and the effects only apply to the opaque pixels. The map was a shell image. Rich
A reflection map applied to text. Rich
This is a map applied to text made from an image of a bug I found in the pool. Rich
I did most of the preparation in Xara X to get the image ready for a Gel application. Basically, I need a round image with a transparent background with a little space around the image. Rich
I created a gel reflection map in AutoFX. You could create the image in any application. This is the application in Expression. Just from a spherical dot. Rich
I found a snake skin on a walk, and made an image into a reflection map.
Just a snake skin. Rich
