The web site i've created looks sparse, All I have is a robot with a speach bubble and some text. Does anyone have any ideas for the back drop...?

I guess it depends on the robot, but I wouldn’t go for blue skies and flat blue backgrounds, and I would avoid jangly cluttered wallpaper. Robots and computers, technology and science. You might try darkish grey backgrounds with some glimpses of technology. I wouldn’t be using bland rectangular photos, but subtle parts of images that fade into the darker background – easy on the eyes – over which the robot and text would appear. I would still put any copy against white though, or a light tone.
