How or can I create a message board like page in WD6?

I tried a search on the site, but when you search "Message Board" you get way too many options.

I am creating a new secured site for my sales force and would like to have a page that resembles a Message board like this one. Is this possible? Is there a widget that can be inserted for this purpose?

I am not familiar with "Blogging", but is there a widget for that? I was thinking a simple blog can be set up to post news worthy items on a page?

Any thoughts or suggestions or links is always greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: This is a very easy and very simple way to add a message board. The nice thing about this is, is the fact that it stores the site remotely so updating your website will not affect the posts on your board.

This gives a very nice way of adding a forum to your own site.
