Hi

isn't there anyone who can help...
Have you tried opening up another window from your hard drive, then ctrl/dragging and dropping the image into the program's page?
When I had similar problems with other programs I found that my computer was usually the culprit. Virus checking, defragging and maybe even reinstalling the program usually fixed it. Someone here might have some better ideas.

Yeah I've tried opening another program and dragging the picture into my paint shop program, and that worked but as soon as I tried to save the picture it closed down....I've tried to reinstall the program as well as checking for viruses, but it didn’t help!
Thanks for replaying tho
My favourite trick with PSP (I use X2, but it works with X1 also) is to close PSP, then re-open and hold the Shift key down until you get a message box that tells you the program will revert to the default settings, then let go of the Shift key :-)
Better save your current workspace first though.
Right-click in the workspace and select wprkspace>Save, give it a name and OK.
Then reset PSP as described above.
Good luck.

Hi Grenou!
So I tried doing what you said.
I closed psp and reopened the program. Then I pressed the shift-key untill a box appeared, but it didn’t say the program will revert to the default settings.
The box said: Will you enable files keys?
- Files with keys you can ignore brief or repeated keystrokes and slow down keyboard repeat rate. Keyboard shortcut for activating the file key is to keep the shift key for eight seconds.
Go to increasing accessibility to disable keyboard shortcut.
Yes - No
