Importing SWF files

I read this in the help. "For those using Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 6 you can simply drop the Flash file onto your web page to insert it into your website."

Says not recognised by any import filter.

I have the 30 day trial. Is it something not available to me yet? Other than that paragraph above it does not mention .swf files in the files that can be imported.

Or did I miss something?

Obviously I am new to Xara.

I had the same thing happen. (There is not even a Flash swf import option that I could see).

Here is what I suggest.

Open the Flash file wherever it is and press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.

Paste the screen capture into PGD6.

Create a rectangle the same size as the pasted animation. Delete the screen capture.

With the rectangle selected, open the Website Properties > Placeholder menu.

Select Replace with Flash.

Browse to the *.swf file and select it and press Open then press Apply.

Now preview your page and the Flash movie should play at the correct size.
