    Default new website!

I'm chaotiic and I have just created a brand new graphics forum for the computer graphics community.

I dont know if i'm allowed to advertise here or not (I'm terribly sorry if I cannot), but I am looking for senior graphics designers, forum moderators, and of course, a graphics team! Please stop by and check it out!! Remember, It's brand new, and I need YOUR help to jump-start this brand new community!!

If this is something that interests you, please register on my website and follow the application rules.

    Thanks much guys,

    Chaotiic ( executive designer )

Not a big fan of websites that command you to sign in in order to see the site itself.

    So... FAIL.

Dont think you are going to get many people.

so what do you recommend? I definitely don't want anyone posting if they are not a member. Should I change permissions so that they can at least kind of see whats here?

How about contributing to our community before promoting your own one?

I don't see what you have to offer people that would make them want to use your forum, when they already have TalkGraphics. Just saying you're creating something does not make it suddenly appealing to people.
I'd start a revolution, if I could get up in the morning.

Yes maybe you should try and contribute here first as Antony has mentioned. Then after that people might be more accepting of taking a look at your forum.

To me it appears your site is just a couple of blaring ads with a quick page wrapped around them. "Spam forum" might be a better name.

Heh. I clicked this latest link and it led to a big pile of spam and junk advertising.

Please don't quote spam, it means I have to edit your post too - rather than just deleting the spam post in question. - AF

well, leave it open for public veiwing, but have it so membership is needed for posting or uploading.
You have to at least let the "public" see some content.

What are you using for your CMS?
