Actually, just change the file extension, xar to x3d and then double click in the icon.

Yeah, you need to change the extention to *.x3d

I have no idea why this changed. I changed the extension on my desktop and it opened fine, then when I uploaded it here, the extension changed back to XAR. Bizarre.

just a thought - if you manually changed the file name it could be that there is a security filter on the forum to prevent upload of files pretending to be what they are not....
