New To WD6

When using WD6 do I have to use templates or can I use an html file I made with
different software?

You cannot use HTML files made with another program. However you can recreate the site in WD6. Here's a tutorial for how to do this.

You can use and modify the templates but you can also create your own site from scratch. It is not that hard and it is a good way to get acquainted with WD6.
