    Default Stretchy buttons

I like this facility in WD6 but want the stock buttons in my own colour choice. I have dragged a stretchy button on to my web page and tried to recolour it. However, when I drag the colour on to the button it does change OK but the text is now hidden by my new colour. How do I edit the colour of these buttons without painting over the editable text I want on them? See attached file shwoing effect when I try to change the colour.

You could either make your own (see the tutorial link in my signature to see how).

    Or...

If it is a stock button as you suggest it should have named colors (Large Squares on the left) in the color bar.
Right click on the color that you want to change and selct edit from the menu that comes up.
Change the color in the color editor.
You may have to do this with several colors if the button has more than one.

    Hope that helps,
    Eric

Grapher - Eric did an excellent tutorial on this. You can find it here.
