    Default navigation bars

I have loaded my site successfully on to the web and it was working OK.

Now I have made some minor alterations to a couple of pages and reloaded but note that the link between the items on the main navigation bar appears to have been lost whilst the link to the items on the sub menus is working satisfactorily. It all works fine when I preview the site on my computer. Any ideas?

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Nick

How are you uploading your site?

One problem might be that you have an index.htm and an index.html file in your server's folder. You can append .html to your file name on export. But if you forget and do not specify, Xara automatically appends .htm. So it is possible to have an older version of your site with the .html extension that is taking precedence over a recently saved .htm file.

Try deleting your site and then republish it fresh.

Thank you. I have now established that the site works fine when accessing it through Internet Explorer and Google but not through Google Chrome. Is there as explanation for this?

Can you provide a link and we can have a look see.

The only browser I know that can be problematic is Opera which will not perform some Flash on layer operations.

Is there anything out of the ordinary about your navigation buttons?

Can you post the .web? There might be something transparent covering the buttons perhaps
