Graphic Design Logo For Wine Cork Company! Help needed.

Hi Everyone,

I need help to come up with a logo for a comany logo for friends of mine.
They are willing to help me get the bsuiness if my Logo design is perfect.

I've done some but not to their liking.

The Company name is: VinoSupreme
They supply the corks and screw tops for wine bottles.
They like Light purple or close to it.

Any Ideas will be greatly appreated.

I like the second logo a lot. You are a good designer. You don't need outside help. You just need to spend a few days generating as many ideas as you can. Don't get tight with your work, just let the designs flow. Try anything. And then when you have a bunch of designs, cull out the best 10 or so and start tightening them up.

Usually when you just crank out designs, one idea will lead to another, which will lead to another and then the right logo will just be there.

Persevere.

Thnk you for the advice. This logo relates to the company but sometimes or most times I like to make it more personal towards the client than the company. Will you look at these and tell me what you think.

Here is a link for a logo I created for a ceramic artist.

I show you this because maybe you can try something that is more descriptive of what the company does.

Also, try some designs that communication visually the business you client is in. For example, what if the O in Vino is the top of a stelvin closure?

I recommend that your friends buy the domain vinosupreme.com very quickly before somebody reading this thread snaps it up and speculates on it. You will most certainly earn brownie points with them for pointing this out.

Yeah that would help, but we are in South Africa, I've registered the .co.za one for them.
Clients here are difficult to get into paying more for either .com or having both.

Buying the .com will cost them very little in real terms but it will ensure that their competition can't. If I owned a cork manufacturing business anywhere in the world I would buy the .com right now so that people who enter vinosupreme.com instead of vinosupreme.co.za are directed to my site. I would also direct all the email to my sales team to make sure any misdirected sales leads are capitalised on. This is staple business practice and, in the case of generic TLDs, very difficult to litigate unless you are a global organisation with big legal muscles. A domain name is part of your corporate identity and to sit there and let it fall into somebody else's hands is, in my opinion, a mistake.
