Default Fonts differences between screen and website

    Hello,

I'm French and I'm currently creating a website for a British company.
I'm working on this website since 1.5 month. I don't know why, but now, when I upload the pages on the server, with all the affiliated files, few text parts doesn't appeared like in the software.
Of course, I'm using the 'web safe' fonts (Trebuchet MS) but nothing appear like I want :
For example, if I write a text in Italic on the software, it will appear in Bold on the website, or It'll be in a huge size...
    Here 2 examples :

    On the software

    On the online website

    Another one :

    On the online website

I really don't understand why all is changing. I use Mozilla but I tried on IE and it's exactly the same on my PC and on another one.
I've tried to search on the properties and everywhere else without finding.
It perfectly worked a week ago, but not now.

    Can you help me ?

    Hello Bastol

First, I do not think this is happening because you are French.

Make sure you have set your page options as shown in the attached.

Use the Bullet or Indent buttons to indent your text.

And try bringing your text to the front (Ctrl f)

    Thanks for your answer.

I don't know if it's happening because I'm French, but it's still not working...

The 2 boxes were already ticked in the Page properties, and the layers were already on the front too...

I tried to create a new layer in which I've putted the problematic text zone, but with exactly the same result. When I create a new text zone, it appears online with the same problems.

When I see the pages "offline", directly on my hard disk on my website directory, all appears normally.
I don't use the Xara Web Designer Publishing tool, but FlashFXP. What I don't understand is it worked normally a week ago.

    Many thanks for your help.

OK, then it must be because you are French n'cest pas?

I have asked Xara to have someone look at this and respond. It might take a day for them to respond and at the same time one of the other members might have a solution. Please check back.

    HI

http://www.xiloform.com/conditions_g...e_vente-fr.htm - when I view this page, the text 'Pour télécharger nos CGV en version imprimable PDF, veuillez cliquer ICI :' appears correct (viewed in firefox and chrome) but the headings like 'Article 1: Définitions' do not appear underlined.

Can you upload your .web file please as this will assist in identifying the cause of the problem

    Thanks

I don't know why, but half an hour ago, all the views appears correctly again... and on all the pages, whereas I've not uploaded all pages again...
That's very stange, and I don't like things which fixed itself.

    Heh heh!

I wonder if maybe the page was cached and you were seeing the cached page and not the fixed page?

    That's very strange...
