Info Tables in Zara Web Designer 6

I am about tobuy Xara Web Designer 6 but nowhere on the Xara website pages promoting this software can I find any reference to incorporating tables into web pages. I use Open Office Calc a lot for spreadsheets and would like to be able to cut and paste sections of a spreadsheet straight into a web page. Is this a "can do" with Web Designer 6?

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Bill Taylor responded to a similar question this morning and said you can try copying the spreadsheet to the clipboard and pasting it as a Windows Meta File.

Another option is creating a bitmap copy of the spread sheet and using that.

At any rate, download the trial copy and give it a test run. The trial version is fully functional and good for 30 days. You can import, export, save, all that good stuff. There are no restrictions except I don't think you can download the templates.

Gary thanks for the credit for the earlier post, but I do believe that Peter (Albacore) provided that post.

Here is a simple example I came up with using the Placeholder idea...

One could also use one of the html page builder programs to quickly enter the table data directly and then "steal" the corresponding HTML code for the Placeholder in order to save time...

    Take care
