XWD 6 Updates On Non Internet PC

Hi all

Been pulling my hair out trying to export file images with fixed names (filename="imagename") only to realise that particular facility isn't available in my installed version.

Xara.com instructs users to download via the programs check for updates only, this PC is not attached to the WWW, its my precious studio one works like a dream, no AV, firewall etc. Only problems I have are registration and updates. Any ideas?

Hi Dean

There is a good work around to this which was posted recently. Actually some time ago but I had forgotten it.

Place a copy of your image on the desktop. Make sure the image has the appropriate name.

Select the image on your page and in the Web Properties > Placeholder section, select Replace with Graphic File.

Browse to the image on your desktop and select the image.

Click Apply.

When you publish your site, the image will retain its file name.
