Default How to stop program renaming image files

I was wondering if there is anyway to stop web designer from changing the numbers of files in 'index_ htm_files' folder every time you change the page and export it?

The reason being is, i have used my own buttons in paypal, which have to be linked to the image on the website somewhere. Every time i change the pages.. it renames that image.. so my button no longer can be viewed.

    Hi Jane

Yes. Select the image then select the yellow tag icon on the infobar. Name the image the image filename="image-name" and press Add. Do not append a file extension to the image name but enclose the name in quotes.

I did as you instructed and the image was saved as "paypal".. but again when it`s exported the button image is saved as a numerical png. I know this as after i upload the website i can view the image address.. that`s what i have to insert into the html for the paypal button.. and it`s always changed to a number??

Did you include filename="paypal" The name has to be preceded by filename=.

    Hello Gary,

I tried it with the filename="Mr Potato Head" [It was a test, I am not working for Hasbro] and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks for the tip.
