WD6 HELP!! I'm getting an error message when I try to publish!!

This may be addressed somewhere, but I'm at my wit's end! I'm trying to publish my web pages, but when I try, I get an error message that says "access denied". It's as if WebDesigner6 can't get to the file that it saved during export.

Forgive my frustration if this is an easy fix...if someone can help...PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO!! (aarrggghh!!)

    Thank you...please....

Does it happens when you store a Copy of your site before you upload or when you try to Upload on your Server?

thanks for responding...it happens when I try to upload to the server. It goes through the whole "export" thing just fine. When I click "publish" it says the error about access denied. It saves to my C: drive on export. Is that part of the problem?

the actual error message is: "index-copy_htm_files: Access is denied"

First you have to export it to your drive, it leaves no other opportunity. You have to click on "publish to website", if this do not work you might have a look under "Web Properties" in the "Publish" Tab and check your Settings.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics carla fontenot

Did you name your file index.htm or index.html before you published? Xara creates the html files for your site and a folder based on the name of your file name (usually index_htm_files). The fact that the error message is referring a file index-copy_htm_files does not seem right.
