Wonderful tutorial Gary!

Well worth repeating myself from the Designer Pro forum.

One thing I did a little differently was rather than draw the blue shapes, I selected the two green shapes and Add Shapes. There was no need to delete the two underlying shapes as they were now one shape.

Bill - I found when I tried to add shapes on those that for me there was still an outline between the two shapes which is why I added the green shapes.

After posting it did occur to me that I was very lucky that the shapes had aligned so the add shapes worked.

One question, how did you do the 3D Bump with the sand?

Pretty much the same way. And then I applied a little Stained Glass transparency. I backed the transparency off (increased the percentage) until the texture was just barely visible.
