    Wonderful tutorial Gary!

I made a few mis-steps at first but figured out where I went wrong and started anew.

And what an excelent topic for this month's tutorial. As I made the original suggestion....here is my attempt.

    BTW...the grass is vector too.

Pure geniuis, Gary! I've often wondered how to do a soccer ball--now I know! I can apply this technique to other round objects as well. Great job!

    Hi Gary,
having difficulty in your latest tutorial (Football).

In step 2, having created the hexagon (110px), then aligned the top and reduced the center control handle with the top of the center pentagon.
When this shape is cloned and rotated, it's size is too large to fit the available space.
Please advise, as to what I am failing to follow.

How much bigger? There is a lot of fudging that has to be done. The rotated shape will not be an exact fit.

Thumbs up Re: NOVEMBER 1 XARA XONE TUTORIAL - A VECTOR (MOSTLY) SOCCER BALL

Man, I fudged a lot then.

    A terrific tutorial, thanks Gary.
Still need to do the 3D Bump with the sand

    Thanks
