    Default redirect code

    I have been using a redirect code on my website for one of the landing pages fine with no probelms for months. The website has got too large so i have now added new pages (newsletters) as a sub directory of the new root directory as per the previous work book by JWP

    If the redirect code was this <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;url=XYZ.htm">

    does the new location become if Nov_2010 is the subdirectory

    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1;url=/Nov_2010/XYX.htm">

    can some one confirm this is correct many thanks

    Looks right, but this has to be very easy to try with a test example?

    hi paul

    for sure yes but the page/webiste is password protected via coffee cup software and clicking xara preview does not find the page ever, so it will save me alot of time uploading and deleting files if it is right from the start as lot of playing about is needed over several sites to feed to the new newslettter.

    thanks again

    I wasn't suggesting trying it on the live site. Upload a test example with a similar subfolder and test out the principle.
